Functional and Ultrasound Diagnostics Center
The following studies are conducted in the Functional Diagnostics rooms:
- Electrocardiography (ECG);
- Daily (Holter) monitoring of ECG and arterial blood pressure;
- Bicycle Ergometry, Treadmill Test;
- Echocardiography (Cardiac Ultrasound);
- Transesophageal Echocardiography;
- Spirography, including drug testing and physically demanding activities;
- Body Plethysmography;
- Electroencephalography (sleep/wakefulness video monitoring, long-term recording, load test recording);
- Electromyoneurography;
- Evoked potentials (visual, auditory, somatosensory, and cognitive);
- Neurologic screening of young infants with central nervous system pathology.
The following studies are conducted in the Ultrasonic Diagnostics rooms:
- Transesophageal Echocardiography;
- Screening of newborns (neurosonography, abdominal and urinary system ultrasound, hip joints ultrasound);
- For children up to 1 year: neurosonography, hip joints ultrasound;
- Ultrasound examination of soft tissues;
- Pleural cavity ultrasound;
- Retroperitoneal space ultrasound;
- Ultrasound of lymph nodes (surface, mesenteric, and retroperitoneal);
- Abdominal ultrasound (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and spleen);
- Ultrasound of urinary system (kidney, bladder + residual urine, ureters, and adrenal glands);
- Ultrasound of superficial structures (thyroid, parathyroid glands, lymph nodes, scrotum, mammary glands, salivary glands, thymus gland);
- Male & female pelvic ultrasound (prostate gland, uterus and appendages), transabdominally and vaginally;
- Ultrasound of musculoskeletal system (muscles, ligaments, and joints);
- Vascular ultrasound (duplex scanning of the brachiocephalic vessels, arteries and veins of the upper and lower extremities);
- Ultrasound of the fetus (at any stage of pregnancy).
